SALEM, Ore. Esperti Peterson Institute and Quantum Press announce that Salem attorney Eden Rose Brown is a contributing author and editor to their book entitled Giving: Philanthropy for Everyone. Eden Rose Brown, J.D. was selected for participation in Giving for her accomplished career in the field of philanthropic and charitable planning. Released in October 2002, Giving is the 8th book in the highly successful Esperti Peterson Institute's Contributory Series.
“Our parents’ generation has a strong tradition of giving back to their communities. Participating in the Giving project enables me to promote charitable giving and encourage philanthropic values in my own generation,” says co-author and -editor Eden Rose Brown.
“Giving is an inspiring compilation of advice from the best minds in the country. It’s a goldmine of great ideas for anyone interested in philanthropy, be they development directors, estate planners, planned giving officers or individuals,” notes Brown.
Giving: Philanthropy for Everyone, is the product of an extensive research and writing project that involved the knowledge, ideas, and experience of the country’s most talented charitable planning authorities - including accountants, attorneys and financial advisors. Their research focused on the most important questions that their clients ask of them and the answers they give to help clients create meaningful charitable giving plans that also incorporate family, financial, retirement, estate and business planning goals.
