R. SCOTT COREY
Collaborating Attorney

Born and raised in Salem, you may remember his father’s business here, Bob’s 19 Cent Hamburgers! Scott moved to Eugene in 1970 to help expand the family business, earned his law degree and business law certificate from the U of O in 1990, and has been developing his estate planning and business practice there ever since.

Scott and Eden have been colleagues for nearly 15 years and in 2005 he came on board to help develop the business planning practice. He now handles all of the new business startups and family partnerships and, being a compassionate writer, often assists with creating detailed, family values trust provisions.

“I’ve discovered I enjoy teaching and am committed to developing client philanthropy at a very personal level. I also believe everyone can, and will “Leave a Legacy” if someone just takes the time to show them how. “

Scott is also quite the handyman and his wife Nancy enjoys keeping her cats, goats and chickens on their small acreage up the McKenzie. When not engaged in house renovations or “farm” projects you will find them sailing, skiing, whitewater rafting, walking or biking the scenic bike trails around Eugene.

ALISON K. FLADWOOD
Client Services Director

Alison brings with her to the position of Client Services Director extensive experience in customer service. Alison grew up in Salem, attending South Salem and Salem Academy High Schools, and has continued her education with courses in Business Management and Psychology. You will appreciate her effervescence and caring nature as she walks you through our unique estate planning process. As Alison believes it’s important to constantly move forward and grow, she is excited about expanding her education in the legal field with this amazing opportunity to work with notable “Super Lawyer,“ Eden Rose Brown.

“When I was younger, I had a meaningful conversation with my father about career choices.  My father told me that it was more important to focus on living a fulfilling life than to worry about how much money I would make and how many “things“ I might acquire.  He asked me to tell him about my most rewarding job. I told him that I really enjoyed working at the front desk at the athletic club, and serving coffee in small coffee shops because each and every morning, I would greet my clients by name, and ask them how they were doing.  I built relationships with people, and they began to expect and count on my smile and greeting each day. It made me feel good to be a regular part of so many lives! I am very excited to apply my skills toward providing each and every client with genuine interest and care throughout each phase of their estate planning process. I am honored to be a part of the Eden Rose Brown family!”

Alison lives in Keizer with her husband Will, their four children, three cats, and two dogs. They spent three years living in Maine, where Alison began an animal rescue farm and was selected personally by Al Gore to participate in a climate change awareness program. Since moving back to Oregon they have rekindled their appreciation for the Willamette Valley and are excited by the growth of downtown small businesses like La Capitale Brasserie. During free time, they like to relax, enjoy good food, good company, and of course good wine!
